this is kinda shitty.why are we even paying if they can't fix that damn thing more than one day?

Wait. What? You are paying to use Steam!?

i'm paying games on steam.you think they don't get money from that?

You can still access your games. Not being able to open a profile or group link in your browser has no affect on your games whatsoever.

also,i can't see achievments for games

Again, that in no way makes your game unplayable.

its stated in the toc "your are not guaranteed a bug free client".

Yea, but until they fix it, you can still play your games, you'll still get the achievements -> when it's fixed it should back-fill achievements.

You don't have to have Steam working 100% perfectly to play games, you do realise that right?

Okay, so if you cannot access achievements, or access groups and friends unrelated to your games, you would "pirate the fuck out of them". That is the most stupidest thing I have ever heard.
Not every game has achievements, and groups and friends are 100% unrelated, therefore your argument fails.
Also, please read ToC's before you agree to them. In the case of Steam's ToC, you are in fact in no way guaranteed a bug free client. Quit bitching, and thinking you are entitled to everything, and move on.

What makes you think we are Steam support? Why not go direct to them?

depends on the information you gave them. If its as much as here so far,yes it will take ages...

You are going to need to give them lots more information than what you have given us. Stuff like how to cause the problem, what it looks like, what it does etc. The more you give them, the quicker they will fix it.

Or try googling 'Steam error 101'. This was the first google search result.

there's no solution in that thread

"Deleted and redownloaded the ClientRegistry.blob" works for pretty much every Steam problem. Otherwise, continue google searching.

Well, It works fine for me. Try clearing all your borwsing history and cache, it might work, i'm not quite sure it will tough.

Uf, so then it's a problem. Maybe something with your internet connection got wrong or you just simply need to wait couple of days.

What DNS settings are you using? Have you tried changing them?

Last time I had trouble accessing some parts of Steam for more than 2 days (the store was working, but everything related to steamcommunity was down/very slow), changing my DNS settings solved it for me. Later I found out a bunch of people who had the same internet provider as mine also had the same problem and solved it through a similar process.

is your firewall blocking it?

did you try reinstalling the steam client?

Although the way you act here I just wanted to post a lmgtfu....but well

Since i think the problem is on your end, check router settings, check firewall settings...if still doesnt work

clicky

With the lack of information you give it could be a lot of things. Also we are no steam support. The time you needed to create this thread is enough to google that problem.
