The director of the incomplete D4 is back and working on a new project with Arc System Works called The Missing
Said to be released in 2018 but not enough information as been given as off yet. So far the partnership with arc (popular for its library of fighting titles) is just as confusing as the pitch itself

Just like ScaleBound, they want games without taking risks

Believe D4 was the reason Swery decided to leave the industry in the first place.
This is Arc though

Yay, more pointless food porn, extremely eccentric characters, and unresolved plots that never lead anywhere! \^_^/
He should team up with Quantic Dream once.

there is a difference between ridiculous and bland. He should stay as far from Quantic Dream as possible.

Nah, maybe he could make finally a Quantic Dream that is interesting and not just about characters with dead eyes shambling through a directionless supernatural plot with disinterested voice actors waiting to finally end recordings. I am not expecting any gameplay of course, Swery's games so far made sure to stay as far away from the concept of being a video game as possible.

I thought DP was a game, it offered the same amount of open world possibilities as other games in the genre, it was just made by a small team and stuck on development hell.
Lol, can you imagine, David Cage thinks too highly of himself to share credits, i bet he sees himself as someone capable of writing directing a movie, he probably laughs at Kojima

To be honest, Kojima's head got stuck so far up his ass, Cage is not particularly better or worse. Metal Gear long ago reached the point where nobody was able to follow the convoluted plot. Also, if you need a 50-minute intro just to set up a premise, you are doing it way wrong. :D

I'm pretty excited! I have a deep fondness for SWERY, so I'll probably pick up just about anything he does.

I initially backed his campaign for The Good Life, but that didn't meet its target. It's relaunching again soon, but I really can't spare the money right now.
