This is a port of the original arcade games, not the NES games.

Yeaaah man! I feel old! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Ok, it's really awesome news.

Would be great if one day we'll get this:
Mighty Final Fight <3
Battletoads & Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team 16-bit SNES version, the same game with better graphics but 8-bit would be great too:)

and... AvP Arcade
and... sadly no chance for this, even for HD/true remake Die Hard Arcade

There are rumors about Rare reviving Battletoads, but prob will be a Xbox One exclusive like Killer Instinct, maybe till M$ decide to release it on Windows Store for Windows 8/10. I'd love Battletoads as well, one of the best games I've played back then.

And damn, Die Hard!

Streets of rage was great but Streets of rage 2 was amazing ! But don't worry Nintendo fans, Final Fight 2 and 3 are also amazing (but 1 player only for the first episode, that's a shame).

I wish "Shin Koihime Musou - Arcade Edition" go to steam :(

Bought it yesterday, brilliant nostalgia trip.

Seeing as people are saying what other classic arcade games they'd love to make an appearance on Steam, I'll go for Midnight Resistance.

Yep, played these long ago.
Gotta admit, while Double Dragon has had a lot of influence in the history of video games, I feel the games themselves haven't aged that well. First one had the really overpowered elbow blows and quite a few opportunities to exploit the level layouts. And the arcade version of 3 was weird, with what was probably the first game to have a microtransaction cash shop.
Personally, I'd like to see a faithful port of Combatribes, which plays a lot like DD2 but with less pitfalls/deathtraps and mode complex movesets.
