So, I'm not sure if this is an error with their disbursal system or an unadvertised deal, but I've done it three times and it seems to actually "work this way"

If you buy a BTA bundle as a gift, THEN buy a $1 bundle for yourself, the keys it assigns you to your profile for yourself are for ALL the games, not just the non-bta ones.

Thought I'd share.

Enjoy

So you bought 3x BTA bundles for $5.75 each and received 3x more BTA bundles for $1 each?
6x BTA bundles for $6.75x3? $20.25? $3.375 per bundle?

You do realize you can get 5x for $16.54 which is $3.308 per bundle and you don't have to abuse their system!

Not sure if you were trying to brag about the 1337 h4x you found or what, but it doesn't even save you money.

He's getting 2 BTA bundles for $3.38 each and only needs to spend $6.75 for it. Sounds like a good deal to me.

"Give 2 gifts for more than: $7.72"

$7.72/2 = $3.86

Saves only .48 cents from the legit way. Seeing as he's bought six, the first method I mentioned would have been better.

The main point is, you can get essentially the same price without abusing a bug in their system.

But this method is cheaper for people who don't feel the need to spend $16 to technically save a few dollars on each. I'd gladly spend $6.75 and pay a few cents more on each than $16 to save a few cents on each. Also, how do you know it's definitely a bug?

Nah, not really. Got the bundle I traded with him during Happy Hour so it was an even deal. :)

Yes, just like the thread topic says: 2 BTA bundles for the price of one ($5.75) + one dollar.

It is supposed to be that way...

...if you buy more than one gift all gift packs are full bundles and since you have the one only for yourself the same rule applies.

I always buy in the first week as during happy hour you will get 4 times the gifts. So no gifts from me until happy hour...

...and true - this time the bundle sucks!

That's called Happy Hour which don't start until after the first week. Today (Friday) is the earliest we could have a Happy Hour. He stated he's making two separate purchases, one at $5.75 and one at $1.00 and receiving two BTA.

Still pointless though as I said earlier, you can purchase more than one at discounted prices already.

  • Give 2 gifts for more than: $7.72 - $7.72/2 = $3.86
  • Give 5 gifts for more than : $16.54 - $16.54/5 = $3.308

If you factor in Happy Hour though, they just get cheaper.
