Which game should I get?
Life is feudal is still in early access. For the moment, even if the developpers are working hard on it, it's clearly incomplete. And that game is pretty boring for the moment (but it'll be realy better in some months). All you have to do is spending your time gathering grass and wood. Castels and sieges will come later, and then it'll be worst buying it :)
(sorry for my bad english)

Can't speak personally although friends of mine have banged on about how good Life is Feudal is.

Well there is your answer there, but yeah most mmo's are best played with friends.

First off, thanks for the giveaway.
I've never played either game personally, though I have a buddy who has been hooked on Life is Feudal and has been telling me I need to pick it up. The game looks decent though, I will give it that. The other game, to be honest, I've never even heard of. After reading the post, I went over to the game's Steam page and I gotta say, it sounds like something that I'd get behind. First off, Tracy Hickman and Richard Garret?!?! That alone makes me want to check this game out! The game, for an MMO, does look pretty good though.
Both games are in Early Access, so if you are really on the fence about either game, I'd suggest waiting and just keeping an eye on how they come out.

I would advise against buying any of them. They are both Early Access and one is even in pre-alpha. Why would you throw money at them for it?
Then again, if the risk seems worth it to you, by all means go ahead. Having not played them, my preference would go towards Life is Feudal, but that's not really based on anything.
Thanks for the giveaway.

Neither. Early Access isn't inherently bad, but when you're looking at an MMO sandbox Early Access game with an emphasis on crafting and survival, I think we have enough of those. Life is Feudal looks like it's trying to ride the ever crowded DayZ train.
Shroud of the Avatar is also an Early Access MMORPG, which just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I'm betting that one or both of these games will be abandoned before the end of the year. Save your money and either buy a good Early Access game like Besiege, Prison Architect, Kerbal Space Program, or Infinifactory, or just get a complete game.
