Yeah, I know what you're saying. But:
1- Bundle games are not really that exciting or rewarding for me to give away anymore, now that I can afford to give away other games.
2- Key sellers are a good viable alternative, yes, but not all the time.
3- I'm not buying a 4 pack just so I can give away the other 3. Not regularly, at least.

Private giveaways, if I am not mistaken, can still be done with region locked gifts, just as long as those who are entering know it is region locked. Perhaps you could find group that are all located in the same region and just do group giveaways with them?

Do you have any idea how this could be adressed? Kinda curious... The only "solution" I could come up with right now is allowing them on and marking them as region locked... But that could lead to a lot of new problems: Has it been properly marked, what to do if if the wrong person wins, people complaining about whether it's fair for someone who only gave away RU games to win high level ROW games, ...

I have thought of one, yes: Indicating on your profile what's your region. Then, you're allowed to enter GA's that are marked for that region, as well as non region locked GA's. Kind of like what you proposed, actually.
The problems that you mention are present on SG right now: GA's not properly marked as locked, wrong person winning... And people don't complain right now that someone who only gives bundle keys away wins high level ROW games, so I doubt that would change.

You could make a group, and only allow people from your region to join.
I kinda expected there to be at least a few unofficial regional groups by now but I guess most people just stopped creating giveaways when the changes where made, you could try asking staff if it's allowed to create a open for all group for you region and request a reroll in case someone from another region joins and wins a gift.

There's a lot of thing I could do. I could create forum GA's. I could gather a group like you said. I could give the games to people I know IRL. I could even make the GA's without using SG at all. That's not really the point.
The point is that I really would like to be able to use SG as it's meant to be used and as everyone else uses it, and I'm worried that I haven't seen any measures taken by SG to allow us to do that. I mainly only wish to know if the community and the administration of the site acknowledges the issue, or if I should give up hope of someday having something at least resembling the SG we used to have.

The same thing happened to me, a while ago. I still have the game in my inventory, hoping that SG would implement something to allow us to give games publicly. I'm kind of growing tired of waiting, and my last GA is coming to an end, so that's mainly why I made this thread.

SG could simply require users to state their region and the region of any game they give away (keys and such would be marked as Universal). Users would then only see/be able to join giveaways for their region and the universal ones.

Hello!
I'm part of those that were greatly affected with the region locking of steam gifts (the gifts themselves, not this site). As of now, I can't give away gifts, only keys, because every game I purchase on Steam is locked and as I understand, it's against the rules to make GA's with region locked gifts.
I'll go to the point: my question is. Has the administration any solution in mind for this? Are they even recognizing this as a problem? Or has this site simply become mostly unusable for gifting for people like me?
It's been a while, and if this continues as it is, my active Batman GA will probably be my last. It's a shame: I have several games in my inventory I would like to give away, but I can't.
I'm not complaining about the region locking: there have been so many threads about that. My concern is directly related to SG.
