So I'm on my last purchase of the Steam Autumn sale and I am on the fence between Dust: An Elysian Tail and Delver. What are your guy's opinions on these games?

Devler is kinda dull, lacks variation that makes for a good roguelike

^^ Have to agree with this.

This was my impression from playing the alpha back in July that I wrote at the time:

I played through the whole game a few times -- it is fun at first but as it currently stands it gets fairly repetitive, even with a certain amount of level randomization. I also found it to be much too easy and my backpack was almost always full with wands, potions, and food by the end of level 2. Even the tougher enemies in the 2nd half of the journey were not too difficult to deal with once you know what to expect. On multiple occasions I also managed to kill the Lich boss with a single shot from a Storm Wand. Another criticism I have is that too many of the potions do similar things and it is too easy to heal up in the game. Perhaps put in some sort of hunger system where you eat food to keep from starving and not to heal. I would say Delver has potential but basically the game just needs to be fleshed out a whole lot more.

Dust will give you at least 9 hours to get to the end. And it is gorgeous.
