Some people like those movies, you lose absolutely nothing by them being made. If you want money to be allocated to better movies, you have to change people preferences, not the film industries decisions.

Intelligence agencies say they haven't heard anything to indicate that attacks may happen. I would delay the movies release but otherwise I wouldn't give in especially considering how much money they have invested/could earn. North Korea always makes threats like this, its just its easier to attack a company than a government.

Guys, my dad works for Sony, the film is still being made, he is going to get me an extra non speaking part, I ask one of the heroes in the movie, "Hey you, are you that guy?"
It will be finished soon, thanks for subscribing

I too am sick of Seth Rogan/James Franco movies, I personally do not care about the result!

Delay nothing, cancel nothing, let it all happen on schedule...then, while North Korea is trying to find the missile launch button, send in the CoD kids to fuck North Korea's mum...otherwise every single terrorist cell in the world will start threatening movies instead of the President

Sony does something no one has ever done before.
Take North Korea seriously.

If I lived in the US, I would intentionally go watch it even though I don't really care about this movie.

While I am not a big fan of Seth Rogan & James Franco and I think the movie idea was really stupid I believe not releasing the movie at all gives the terrorists more power.
Where will they stop next time (if they actually stopped this time, as they could and more then likely will still release stuff).
"We don't like the marvel movie coming out because it doesn't have any scenes in North Korea so we'll hack you and bring death on your shores."
"We don't like your movie because there is pink in it and we don't like the color pink, so we'll hack you and bring death to your cities."
"We don't like the date you are releasing a movie because its a day before our great leaders birthday, don't release the movie at all or else your people will die!"
I don't normally swear but I say fuckem. If they put it in a theater and something happens ya they could be sued out of existence (I think, not totally sure on that) so put it up on the torrent sites. Heck even if they don't put it on blu-ray or direct download or in theaters thats where it will eventually end up anyway.
Heck I don't even want to see the movie cause I think its a stupid idea, but I'd download it it just as a big FU to the people threatening others with death just because they don't like the movie.

not buying any sony products since they put a rootkit on their cd's back in the days.
instead of investing in IT security they have a horde of lawyers just sueing everybody who reports on the things they do not like to get public.
now they do not even have the balls to release that film. they should put it on youtube for everyone to see for free just to make a statement.
i have no respect for them, and will not miss them if they go bankrupt.

lol even the president said sony made a mistake by canceling the movie Team America: World Police is also being canned for the similar reason.

I think it's a good move. Do we really need more Seth Rogan/James Franco crap cluttering up the theaters when other, GOOD movies can get a chance? I can't wait to see Unbroken.
