Nice puzzle. 2 and 4 were in my domain, but the others are a little more touchy to find.

5 it's the easiest, even a biologist would know. :)

1 and 3 are in my domain as a BioChemE :)

1 is annoying me for some reason. I know what it is, but I can't seem to find the right word.

3 would be fairly easy to find. I mean, at least that part of biochem is well structured :p Finding the name would be relatively easy if you knew the name of the smaller components.

5 I feel like I've heard before, but couldn't find it even on Google. Must be some kind of basic knowledge expression...

But well, tried it for fun, but already have The Ship, so good luck for the others who'd try it! And thanks for the giveaway!

That's the idea :) I know the game is not that great.

You are right about 5, but you can find it on google, wikipedia and even in a gig which is kind of sad actually.

1 have annoyed at least one man before you :)

And 3, it determines how good a chemist is and maybe more things :)

:) sshh don't give too many hints!

Like puzzles so I gave it a shot. Got them all except for 1. Either my chemistry is rusty or I'm missing something, because I would swear the picture doesn't match up with the hint, and either way none of my answers work.

I got 2-5 but 1 had me stumped. After seeing the answer and googling it makes a lot of sense. Great puzzle!

I still do not get it... 1st one is definitely the electron shell diagram of vanadium. What does a plant had to do with it?

"Vanadium is a chemical element with the symbol V and atomic number 23. It is a hard, silvery gray, ductile and malleable transition metal. The element is found only in chemically combined form in nature, but once isolated artificially, the formation of an oxide layer stabilizes the free metal somewhat against further oxidation. Andrés Manuel del Río discovered compounds of vanadium in 1801 by analyzing a new lead-bearing mineral he called "brown lead," and presumed its qualities were due to the presence of a new element, which he named erythronium (Greek for "red") since, upon heating, most of its salts turned from their initial color to red."
