I just got a steam support email saying an inquiry was put in to find the account name associated with a certain cd key. Since the only places I get CD keys from are here or gamefly I assume somebody here is looking me up.

Is this something to worry about?

Did you ninja a steam key? If someone else gets dup from a steam key you've used they can inquire account. But since they have no access to your email inbox, then there's nothing to worry over.

Nothing to worry about. Worst case scenario and that's if they put a loooot of effort into your case is that you get the game removed.

But that won't happen, so, naw.

Not at all. That only means that someone has tried to redeem a code you've had and he thinks himself so funny that he's clicked the retrieve all accounts associated with this key button,

I've been getting those one every two weeks or so for months now.

I wouldn't sweat it.

Not concerned at all. It's simply a waste of bandwidth for steam to have this option.

I would burn my house down with my computer still inside.

But I'm a paranoid optimist.
