Storing gift-links and keys is already possible in SteamGifts V2.
As for your second option, no. People feel free to specify the nature of the game, I don't see why this should be an obligation.

I don't want to force some options - just provide a way to show what type your giveaway is.
And I think a box asking you
"In which way are you going to provide the game?"
with answers:
{"Steam-Key"; "Steam-Gift"; "Gift-Link (Bundle)"; "Other Platforms (Origin)"}
could REALLY help to stop some of those fake-giveaways from people thinking that they don't have to provide the gift but the website does...

yeah that's good, they have this for dev giveaways and at gameminer too. But in the meantime you can use the sticky notes app if you're on windows.

1st. getting 30.01 is very cheap. With 1 good 1$ bundle and few 0.1$ DLCs you can create multiple accounts with 30.01 CV. That means nothing compared to having few hundred thousand of direct users to send them phishing link.
2nd. On ST it would be even worse - giving a direct scam/phish opportunity on site dedicated to trading...
3rd. PMs were suggested numerous times and answer always was and always will be - NO.

Daniel, I really love this achievement idea, and with a little effort, you can make this on Steamgifts now:
You can make custom rules for your giveaway, by discussing it with the Staff - so for example, winner needs to have XY achievement - if he/she doesn't have, or Steam profile prive, you reroll. :) Then just make a forum topic about it, and if you say every participant needs to bump it for being eligible, it won't disappear in the depths of the forum.

This is similar to what another giveaway site (GameMiner) is doing and I like it (though I still prefer SG overall)

I'm not crazy about the auto-gifting. I'd rather maintain control over the giving of the keys and I think it would lead to more issues than it would solve.
I love the private info box idea, though. That way, rather than tracking down the key or gift link when the giveaway ends, I can just put it in the giveaway for my easy access later.

I think it would be great if there would be a way to create a private note that just you can see for giveaways you created so that you can store gift-links or Steam-keys in it and don't have to search them manually after the giveaway was finished.
Another (even greater) slution would be if one had to specify in what form one has the gift and - in case the gift is in form of a key or link - enter this into some sort of box and after the winner was chosen SteamGifts automatically sends this note to the winning User.
What do others think of this idea? Would it be a good addition to SteamGifts' features and would the second idea perhaps be an overkill?
