sites like these try to get/steal your login information. if you logged into your account from that website, then you better change your password immediately.

that link is a phishing link.. notice that's it's not steamcommunity.com but steamcommunutiy.com..

They expect you to enter your login informations (login + pass) without noticing. If you didn't enter your info you should be safe, but you should learn that clicking random links you're given is the perfect recipe for disasters.

Well it's an obvious phishing site.

Why do you think you got scammed? And no, you did not get a virus from visiting the page.

Yes its a phising site designed to steal your account, and you can get viruses just from visiting the site, so make sure to scan.

If anyone says that they added you because their friend wants to trade with you, but can't add you to their friends account and want you to use a link to connect to them, its more then likely a scam to get you to log into a fake site that looks identical to steam log in page.

NEVER trust those urls. Never sign in on a page that some random person you don't know sent you or even posted on a forums. Heck always triple check urls from people you have had on your friends account for a long time because sometimes they can get their accounts stolen and fake urls sent out to their friends.

Everytime you see that message in any form means Block and Report them. Easy as that.
