I've been trying to buy a new headset for my Iphone but prices are too damn high and the cheap oneas, are from real bad quality.

Ah yeah, I've gotten one bundle through them, and they have spammed me ever since. Can't say how they would be for physical goods though.

I once bought a pair of headphones through amazon. They turned out to sound really bad and when I went to an apple store to ask what was wrong with it they said it was a knock off and replaced them with actual apple brand headphones. I was so mad thinking they're stuff sucked and I guess they picked up on that and decided to just made my day.

Just buy them from trust worthy sources based on personal experiences or from authorized retailers of the brand in person.

But Apple's headphones really do suck! Or so I've heard. Good for looks but at that price there are better alternatives.

Well, the product ain't an official Apple one, so buy at your own risk.

I believe the site is just fine, WOT is green. However, "real good quality" is very subjective. I wouldn't buy such earphones myself. Etymotic, Sennheiser and Phonak Audeo probably have some quality earphones.

Edit: Why are people saying you need official Apple earphones? I seriously hope you can use others as well. Otherwise, why would anyone buy an iPod, iPhone, iPad..?

Yeah, I know that theres a lot of cheaper headphones with a real good quality sound, like SkullCandy's that worth around $15-$20 bucks on ROSS, i think i should probably get one of those

I've heard and had bad experiences with those, a few people I know that have gone with them have had theirs crap out within a year or so.

I'm not saying anything about official Apple ones. I'm just saying that this brandless one may not be as good, thus "buy at your own risk".
I do know of better and cheaper earphones, and use them instead.

Insert conspiracy theories about how an iDevice can detect if the headphones are 'legit Apple' and if not, decrease sound quality. >.>

If they try that, they would be betraying all their official accessory partners. I doubt they are willing to take the risk.

These are some off-brand earbuds no doubt mass-manufactured by one of the big copycat houses in China and then sold in bulk to sites like Stacksocial, which in turn sells them at a large profit.

See, here's a site selling the exact same crap, 100 units for $3.50 each. "Best quality replacement", indeed!

Their support is horrible. I'm still waiting for them to explain why my DRM-free download of Storm in a Teacup isn't available anymore. It's been 4 months, but I'm sure their reply is on the way.

With my previous purchase, they had mentioned on their page that they remove their DRM downloads after a few weeks at most.

I know. The limit was 60 days, but the problem occurred before that and all the other downloads were still available last time I checked. Not a huge deal, I have Storm in a Teacup from Groupees, but I'm not buying anything else from them again. I was a regular customer before that.
