The worse thing is people actually believe that there is a God and that the Bible is real, it was written by people hundreds of years after Jesus may or may not have died if he even existed at all. It's funny these people believe in the Bible and God but think people with other religions are stupid. An all knowing all seeing being who created everything is plausible but having different gods for the sun, earth and wind is crazy...

I never said the bible was true...Not even the people who wrote it down meant that. Ever wondered why there are two stories of how man was created? Different tribes mixed together, mixing their stories told by their ancestors. People didn't want to decide which story to use so they wrote down both.

But that's all they are. Stories. They're as true as the japanese stories about how their gods created their islands, the greek stories of their gods living on mount olympus, the norse stories of their gods and ragnarok, etc. The product of primitive minds trying to make sense of natural phenomenons or ease the pain of losing loved ones, or their own fear of death, by imagining fantasy worlds where they would be together forever.
They're all just stories, told and retold across the ages and embellished and exaggerated more and more as time went past. And the characters in them, while some might have actually existed, are just as much fantasy at this point as the stories themselves. Sure, maybe some guy named Jesus really did exist, but i doubt he was a white hippy that got nailed to a cross, came back to life 3 days later and then floated up to space some time after that.
You'd think by this point mankind would have outgrown these fairy tales and moved on, but no, we're still killing each other over who's invisible sky overlord is real just like we did 1000 years ago.

For the record, professing belief in a particular faith is often blaspheming against another. Notice what ISIS is doing? They are running around killing people for the crime of not believing their particular flavor of Islam. I'm much more worried about the zealots than I am the blasphemers...
