In Malaysia, the Indians often make feasts for their neighbours and friends regardless of beliefs or races during Deepavali. It's one of my favourite holiday here.

Happy Diwali! I went to a little Diwali celebration at my university a couple years back with a friend who celebrates it. It was pretty fun though it was a bit weird being the only Asian in the room :P. Lots of great food and sparklers! Lots of sparklers!

Happy Diwali everyone! But remember to keep safe...Neighbour nearly blew his hand off just when a firework blew up on the ground. He's okay, just a minor burn to the wrist. Just remember, be careful with these things.
