I bought a groupees bundle and there are some games I want to give away, but how do I do that with groupees? I see I can turn it into a gift, but then what? I'm kinda cautious because I don't want accidently add the games to my steam library.

Has groupees changed to the humble-like system?

Not that I know of. Should I just send the steamkeys by e-mail?

I just clicked on the little gift icon next to one of my Desura keys, it turned green and said "available in giveaway", the key got striked through, but it was still copyable (plus it can be reversed by clicking the gift icon again). I think it's just so you can keep track of your keys. edit: ah, there's also a "Giveaway" tab to the right that stores all the "available in giveaway" keys which you can drag into a box to send to someone through email. But that seems more hassle than just copying the key.

So yeah, probably just email the key to the winner/give it to them through steam.

I was wondering if that gift icon did more than strike through the key. Thanks for the advise, i'll just send the keys through email, definitly sounds easier.

Haven't tried it but I think it's a way to send key(s) marked for giveaway via email through their page.
At the giveaway tab you can select 1 or more available keys (which you have marked for gift) and put them into a "bundle". I suppose after you enter the name, email, comment and press "create bundle", they send an email to the recepient containing these keys.
I don't know what the status of the keys used in a bundle will be. Maybe they get marked as "gifted to <email>".
If that would be the case, then I think it's a nice way to track of which key went where.
I may try it in my next giveaway
