Very true. To me, having Fish contrasted to developers like Team Meat and Jonathon Blow in Indie Game: The Movie made him seem all the worse. I felt such sympathy for Team Meat; I was rooting for them all the way. I was impressed by Blow, both by his eloquence and his game design abilities. Fish was just the crazy train-wreck that every documentary or reality tv show needs. You're not rooting for him, you're waiting for him to derail.

Lol you are complaing much as Phil xD you behave same as him in matters of complaining, the point his why they think that way? i did played all kind games of all generations and in past games were much more creative and thanks to triple A games the games became more beauty but more generic and empty as well, in my personal taste i like triple A and Indie games, but its clearly how much indies are needed to refresh the concepts of gaming community and bring some creativity.

99% of indie games are crap. I like to have fun while playing and AAA games give me this, i can't say the same about indie games. Super meat boy is just stupidly hard, it has nothing except challenge, 0 originality, i saw same games 20 years ago. Of course i love some, i will always support thatgamecompany and their masterpieces, love tale of tales too. But i will never support such crap as dlc quest, bit trip and 99% other indie games. I've already played them when i was a kid.

You talk bad of Indie games the same as some indie devs talks bad about triple A games, whats the difference? The diffrence is you are just a player no one cares about your opinions meanwhile a dev can be loved or hated about things they say and you hate the ones that disagree with you. I love indies same as triple A, i know the advantages and disadvantages of each one.

I could have accepted his "artistic vision" of Fez as a console game (especially if he had not said something so ignorant as, "PCs are for spreadsheets"). I respect artists having a certain vision for their mode of expression, whether it makes sense to me or not (and this one would have even made sense to me, in a way). However, he loses that respect completely by doing a 180 and selling out by porting it to PC after being so outspoken against PC.

People have every right to form opinions and speak them just as much as he does. He takes part in society just like everyone else and we all form opinions based on the behaviors of others. It is more or less automatic. It is what we do with those opinions which is not, or at least should not be, automatic. He seemingly has never learned any self-control or tact, and he cannot handle it when others are unwilling to acquiesce to his "obvious" superior nature. While you can say that he may not deserve some of the treatment he has gotten (which is something I hinted at in my first message), he certainly "deserved" the hatred, as that is not something one either "deserves" or not. People either like or dislike what they will.
He started the fire and proclaimed that he liked doing so, then he couldn't stand the heat. You can't expect to flash your tits in public and not expect more than a few boners to pop up. Now a lot of gamers have a hard-on for him. He really only has himself to blame for not having more tact, not being able to ignore some or all of the criticism, and for being so pompous.
