Some of the games were in bundles only 1 time or haven't got in them again for a long time.
IMO it would be logical to "reset" bundle status for a game after, for example, a year of it not getting in bundles.

While I don't entirely disagree, I think it would have to be longer than a year so there would be less abusing the system, but it would be monstrously difficult managing when each game is in a bundle, and how long ago was the last one.

The list of bundled games is getting pretty crazy, especially with the number of sites doing bundles now, but there really isn't any other way around it to make sure they're not abused. Besides it gives more incentive to give games that haven't been bundled like new releases!

If you check traders' prices, after few months from the bundle games are traded more like for the Steam discount price rather then the bundle price. Some don't even trade games when they're still in a bundle, raising the price from the start. That's why I don't think there'd be large ammount of contribution farming.
Also, there're sites like IsThereAnyDeal.com which specifically follow game sales, so I don't think checking the bundles would be hard.

The problem with that is someone would need to constantly recheck each and every bundle game as well as maintain a time period check. If you can remove the human element that would require that, they could probably do it but you'd have to put work into the code/system itself and present it to them.

Traders are irrelevant since those aren't the source of the price checks for SG anyway.

They already have to check bundles for new games, what they would need is to add a counter to bundle list games, which could be reset if they see a game in bundle again.

People will abuse it, so I say no, the system is good as it is.

The time is nearing when Bundle hoarders will finally be rewarded for their patience.

This is probably something that will have to be done in future, but as it stands now, no. I'm actually for the reset (at 2+ years) but I understand that the amount of work that would be needed to do it, is just not worth it at the moment.
