I was hoping to generate a list of steam badges that can be crafted with a high likelihood of "profit" or equalization in the endgame, by which i mean, the value of backgrounds and emoticons are higher than the components to craft the badge.
So far, I have done this with the games
-Lumini
-Flood of light
-Chicken invaders 4
-Switch galaxy ultra
-Port Royal 3

Game Cost/Set High valued item Value after costs
Lumini $1.26 yellow lumini background $6.08
Flood of light $1.24 FOL_Locky $6.69
Chicken Invaders 4 $.71 earth, roast, burger, Space, sun $4.11, $2.89, $1.00, $2.96, $2.17
Switch Galaxy Ultra $1.25 Planet impact,Planet Ocean $1.36, $4.88
Port Royal 3 $1.50 Weed $6.09

I buy the cards throughout the year for cheaper than their go-to prices through buy orders and waiting, and then craft during a sale for extra cards. Not looking for new games with unstable unstable prices, nor rare backgrounds which are unlikely to drop. Just sets containing relatively high priced common /uncommon backgrounds/emoticons. Note that all values are approximate. They are what I happened to have bought/sold them for.

Got lucky this set with 3 FOL_Lockys, Earth, Sun, and 2 yellow lumini.

am I missing any good sets out there?

You know that after you posted it, the values will fall quicker than you can say "I'll blacklist you", right?

I got to wonder, though, if the odds make sense.
Port Royale, by example, has only one valuable item - Weed. The other items are worth very little. Based on my understanding of rarity (which, admittedly, isn't that good), you'd get a little less than 1 for every 4 sets. It costs $1.50 to complete a set, so 4 times would be $6.00 - and Weed is only worth $1.50. So statistically, you'd be barely breaking even.

Why not crafting booster packs for them?

There are many backgrounds/items you can barely sell or only for 3 cents. If they provide more than 10 gems, I usually convert them. Then check prizes for booster crafting and check on the background prizes on the market or Steamcardexchange. This way you might also get foil cards.

In order to craft booster packs for the said games, you need to own them.

I know. I meant to check Steamcardexchange's badge price/background toplist for the most profitable games you own.
And if you notice unowned games which would return even more, you could get them cheaply by Tremorgames or grey market if these are bundled ones (there are bundled games in OP's chart).

This tool helped me a few times with Emoticons - steam.tools. It also has a background feature which I haven't used.

Examples:

I didn't calculate the crafting costs though so maybe the ROI isn't worth it. Good luck :)

You know that each one that you post will have from this moment on a lot more of users that sell the stuff and the values drops ...
So each of the games you list will give much fewer profit from now on.....

That could maybe be an issue if this was something new and not something people have been doing ever since Steam got cards. If values drop, people forget about it and prices go back up, then new people figure it out etc.
