Now that's pretty strange, however not really an unfortunate event. :)
For some reason SG tells me that I already have Magicka, which I am fairly certain I don't, but I'm unable to enter those giveaways nonetheless.

That's because Steam tells SG that you have Magicka. Aren't free weekends great? You are going to have to wait 2 weeks for it to wear off.
