Boss battles are meant to be hard to handle, even in real life. But fortunately, all of my bosses/employers are nice people.

Just went on a 60 days business trip to Congo with my boss and an engineer, we rented a villa so were pretty much 24/7 together. He cooked for us sometimes, brought us to fancy restaurants, bought presents for our families, gave us extra cash but the only downside was at home he was only wearing a top and his undies except when he was cooking.... Next trip by the end of October for 6 months, i still have nightmares of these red underwear :'(

I once got fired because I dared defend this really shy girl who was pregnant and arrived late for work cause she felt sick in the morning (like, 15min). Of course our boss couldn't care less and wouldn't stop shouting at her; I shouted back at him for being a dick and eventually got fired later that very same day.

I've only been fired once that I can remember, but it was necessary. I had been bumped up to assistant manager without receiving any training for the job and therefore wasn't able to fulfill my duties. I didn't have any hard feelings, but it did make my boss cry when she fired me. I went on to bigger and better things. )

Never been fired, I can manipulate my superiors pretty easily so usually if there's a fight they come to me to apologize in the end.

Do you get severance pay? If not, then why not make a huge dramatic scene and send everybody to dine in hell haha. (my dream is to do that one day)

I got the boot solely because a family member did. Sound reasoning right? To make it better, said family member was practically running the entire business for the boss, being paid less than anyone else there, and was fired because it "wasn't working out" when she needed to take a second job to make ends meet (and still spent the same number of hours at the first job, I should add). Basically, the boss used the second job as the reason why things were going wrong, despite nothing having changed at her company because of it. Boss was just taking off, ignoring/yelling at customers, not ordering supplies to get jobs done, not filing things that needed her name specifically to be on them, etc. But my family member (and by extension, me) got the blame and the boot instead. Hooray?
