Hi all!
I'm posting this in the hope you'll take interest in a fellow SteamGifters game development endeavors!
I've just released a FREE game for Android and iOS. Hopefully it will do well enough to fund
the development of Steam games in the future.

Here's the relative links:

Fuzzy Hop

Hope you like it (a 5-star rating would go a long way if you did)!

Looks cute, I like how you can squash Chickens, they are dangerous animals.
I'll try it a bit later, not near my android now.

Looks cute, but what's with all the permissions? Why would it want the list of running programs or list of accounts or view Wi-Fi connections?

Thank you, I was going for cute!

On your permissions question:

Wi-Fi connections I am guessing it's because it uses Game Center / Play Games for achievements and Leaderboards and it also has IAP. so it utilizes internet connections for those and deactivates them if it's not available. Some users has the option to use these services only when wi-fi is on, so maybe the services want to determine that.

List of accounts because on Android at least, you can switch from one Google play account to another by tapping on the Google play icon (except if you have activated the option to automatically login on a specific account).

List of running programs. I have no idea actually :( All these permissions were automatically activated by the services, maybe it's a standard thing or maybe it's something I had to manually switch off (I'll keep an eye for it when I update the game), TBH, the services integration was a major headache for me and took ages to get it right!

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. If you're using Google Play Services I guess that explains the accounts at least. Still would be cool if you could reduce the number of permissions. I'm sure some of them are redundant and just there by default. For example the permissions page lists 'view Wi-Fi connections', 'receive data from Internet', 'full network access' and 'view network connections'. I figure some of that is redundant. :)

I will keep it in mind on future updates. I get what you are saying, I get nervous too when I am asked to allow an app to do a huge list of things and I have no idea why. I always have the sneaky suspicion "Sell your soul to us" is hidden somewhere between the lines :P

Well, you seem reasonably non-evil, so I guess I could try the game anyway. Of course, the best evil ones appear to be innocuous. :)

Installed it yesterday and played a little. My impressions:

The game is decently fun, it's very heavy on the battery, the IAP are a little too in your face, and the back button isn't supported, which bothers me.
