Or are you switching? Why?

Doesn't an enabled javascript make you more "vulnerable"... You could basicly destroy your Pc by klicking a picture,link,....

Anyone who isn't disabling third party cookies, running noscript, and some sort of adblocker* isbasically asking for trouble.

*Yes, I recommend adblocks. Not only do they improve the browsing experience, you can set individual sites as whitelisted anyway. And yes, there have been stories of malware spread through advertisements.

Everything enabled except plugins (on demand) and ads (blocked on websites that annoy too much). No problems so far

Many websites wouldn't work without JavaScript and you have to be paranoid when you think that JavaScript can destroy your PC.
I only use the built-in adblocker from Opera.

There have been some exploits, which could be used to ditribute malware on your computer by opening a website. Think about it ;)

I'm not worried so much about javascript exploits, what bothers me is third party info gathering and tracking. I use No-Script (in addition to a bunch of other blockers and privacy add-ons) to enable JS on a site by site basis. After I started using No-Script, I noticed how many sites use trackers, analytics and data-mining services to watch what you're doing on and off their site. This was really driven home when I started noticing that eBay was suggesting items that I looked at on unrelated sites, or searched for, that it should have had no idea I was looking at. I found it really creepy that they were stalking me across the internet so I decided to make sure no one could ever do it again.

I'm rolling with Adblock Plus, Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon, BetterPrivacy(for those so called "super cookies"), CookieSafe(for regular cookies), Flashblock, Force-TLS, Ghostery, HTTPS Finder, HTTPS-Everywhere, Perspectives(take that man-in-the-middle attacks), RequestPolicy(because I decide if I want to see any third party content on a webpage), and User Agent Switcher.

Come at me Internets.

Meh, I'm not worried at all. Using Adblock only here, I found NoScript kinda annoying when you know if the site are safe and I must whitelist them manually.

I got infected by many viruses recently because of Java exploits... I uninstalled that crap. I read about some critical exploits in Java, but I think they fixed it already...

Some of you seriously need a better anti-virus, and to learn what the difference between Java and JavaScript is before you get infected by your own porn sessions. Btw, my JS is enabled always, else the web purely sucks in normal html.

Not seeing difference between Java and JavaScript is not that severe issue as long as one is not related with IT ;]

FYI, Porn sites are actually safer statistically then regular or none porn sites by at least 50%. Also, I think porn constitutes 40% of the total web or was it 27? Somewhere around there.

I browse with JS enabled. Chrome is the only free browser that has a decent sandbox right now.
Still, I have click-to-play enabled, so to use java or flash applets I need to click on them.

I got no virus since I installed chrome 5.

Firefox/IE9, both with JS enabled, adblocking in both. Never got any infection - EVER. Just use the round thing on your neck and you should be fine.
Regarding the tracking - I don't care.

Browsing with JS, with ads. Only thing that's disabled is Flash because it causes performance problems (FF with hundreds of tabs open).

i use noscript to disable javascript (and all plugins) by default, and then just enable it for sites i trust and find useful / necessary. i'm not worried about "destroying" my computer since that sounds more extreme than what's actually possible, but i don't want my computer spending time doing unnecessary things. so google analytics and tons of advertising scripts never see me. i also use opendns to completely block a small number of advertising servers, which has actually made youtube completely video-ad-free for me :)

There is no point in blocking JavaScript, Java, Flash or other content in a browser ... Just make sure you're using Standard User account instead of Administrator for daily usage, and you will be safe enough.

Take a look at this great sites:
http://ip-check.info/?lang=en (Hit "START TEST!")
https://panopticlick.eff.org/
Then you will know why its important to block all scripts with NoScript, and use Ghostery, RefControl, HTTPS Everywhere, Better Privacy and Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for privacy purposes.
Moreover I recommend you Outpost Firewall Pro (lifetime license), which include many options for web blocking, like script blocking, cookie blocking, flash blocking, etc. It also has an host editor and an ip-blocker.
Also I hardly recommend you installing Bleachbit to seriously clean your system from junk, supercookies(LSO's) and eavesdrops.
