Hey, so I don't need the 2nd half of the Humble Firaxis Bundle BTA, and I want to create a giveaway for it. But when I search for it, only other Humble Bundles come up but not the Firaxis one. Is it just not possible to create a giveaway for it or?

You'd have to send a ticket to support asking to make a "game" available. That's the only thing you can do, or just select one game and give the code to the winner.

Only a few bundles are in the list when they activate all games in one key. They have to be added manually be the admin though. Instead you can make single giveaways for the games you don't wan

Edit: Sorry mixed up the bundles... Fireaxis really activates as one...

Yeah, 1 tier = 1 key, games don't have keys separately, otherwise I would definitely have made separate giveaways. Might have confused you when I said 2nd half of BTA. HB gave me 2 separate keys for tier 2, 1 for games that weren't the "mystery games", and then another 1 for the "mystery" games.

only way is to either write to support and see if they add it to the list or make GA for 1 of the games from the tier and add in description that winner will also get all the other games because of 1 key.

As for Bundles avaiable to give awayon SG - also keep in mind that these few that are on the list doesn't give CV worth of games but rather CV worth of tier price - so tier 1 will give 1$ Value, BTA will give 3-5$ depending on bundle etc. It's not really worth to give the whole tier for Value because of it - usually the most expensive game in the pack, even on 15%. for example in case of this bundle - if you give away viv 4, Civ 5 or Enemy Within - they are all worth 30$, so you would get 4.5$ CV. Almost no difference if you were giving BTA worth 3-5$ nonbundled CV :>

EDIT: Examples of Tier 1 and no-tier GAs worth 1 and 5$ (so 1 and 5 points to enter:

So, I just dug up this thread following the same thought train, and not willing to start another one, I'm gonna piggy back on it.

Question is: say I create a Civ V: G&K (30p) which is really the BTA bonus from that Humble. What stops anyone from reporting me for Misleading Giveaway, given that I'm manipulating the CV system by earning 30 "undeserved" points?

Except I suppose Civ V: G&K is going to be added to the bundle list, thus neutering the GA in terms of CV - but technically someone could still get me banned in the meanwhile?

edit: IOW, I guess the only safe way to do this is to wait for the game to be added to the list, right?

I just added it in the description of the GA. And since the DLC is now bundled, the CV isn't 30, it's much lower than that. I'm getting less points than I would if humble had given me separate keys for each of the games. And if they did add the BTA bundle to the list, I imagine it would be hard to determine how many points it deserves because of the different times people would have bought BTA; those who had bought earlier paid ~$6, later, $10 (also because tier 2 is split into 2 keys) But if they did add the bundle to the list, I imagine it would go for full points on whatever the bundle cost..so I don't really see the difference. And I doubt the game/bundle would be added to the list, unless requested.

Just to be super clear, this is not aimed at you or meant as any type criticism. It's an honest question, getting a ban reversed can take months. I was probably wrong about G&K anyway, looks like the DLC was added almost two years ago.

Still think the question is worth being asked though - as a what if.

first off, I doubt the winner would report you if they received MORE than you promised
second, if you mention it in the description, you're clearly not being misleading
third, you're not getting more credit because of the whole bundle = 15% thing
fourth, don't worry about it, the admins aren't dicks
