I recently made a humble bundle account and claimed past purchases I had made from them. The thing is it also shows download links for games I traded away and have been claimed by other people. Did I just make a huge mistake by claiming them? Is it just that I can download the game, but the key will be invalid for me since another claimed it? Will the people I traded those games to still be able to play them?

I'm guessing those download links are for DRM free versions. They are separate to steam-keys (or others).

You can say that when you buy game on humble-bundle you get two games in price of one (as long as it has DRM-free edition too, that is).

yep that's what it is right there, you're looking at the DRM free games.

The way I see it you're getting one game and a few options to redeem it. So while you can give one option to someone else and keep another, that's against the spirit of things. Still, if you gave away the game and don't intend to play the DRM-free version, or you already own the game, that's fine in my book. (It's not like you have an option to gift all copies together.)

few options to redeem it? you don't redeem drm-free games (unless you got a gog key, but still it's not the same thing with steam, origin, whatever). that's the whole point of it. if they were against you to give away the steam key and keep the drm-free copy for yourself, they wouldn't give you the drm-free version in the first place. sharing drm-free copy is pirating. but giving away the steam key and playing the drm-free copy yourself is not. that is the spirit of things.

Hope thats all it is. I did look under the keys part and they don't show, meaning they were redeemed. If that means I can still play games I traded away I guess that would be cool.
