I was so cloas to 5 level. Today morning I checked my level and I was 4.99 then you added "Interloper" to the bundeled list... 2 days after the giwaway ended ;(... and I landed back on 4.67 ;(.

If the rules would be clear what is bundled and what is not... and when they winn add it to the bundled list ;(.

Sorry for the bickering I had to throw it on my shoulders this happened to me second time in last 3 days...

Actualy it was 90% off on steam not 95%. If it would be a 1 time action I would understand it but it happened a few times with 90% sales.

Exactly. Not that its a big deal, but its confusing since theres a difference between a bundled game and a highly discounted game. I couldnt find where it says that 90% is the magic mark and 89% is ok

Really to be safe you should expect discounted game at 90% to be bundled, because of the exchange, it means it will often gets to over 95% in other countries.

Do you know what countries are that?

I'm in the Euro zone and I pay the same amount in Euro as people pay in $ that means the games are more expensive for me.

use steamdb.info to easilly compare prices. go to page of the game you want t give away, see how much cheaper it is in cheapest region compared to base price. Combine both discounts. For example your Interloper GA: https://steamdb.info/app/356420/ Russian price is 66.08% lower than baqse price, game was on 90% sale. Let's calculate combined price difference:

(1 - 0.9) * (1 - 0.6608) = 0.1 * 0.3392 = 0.03392
1 - 0.03392 = 0,96608

Game is available somewhere at 96,608% discount, which is way more than 95%, game goes to bundle list :)

It's 95% off compared to the US store price. This means that if the game is really cheap in another region, like say Russia, the game gets added to the bundle list. Currently, any game that gets an 80-85% discount runs the risk of getting bundled.

but as it was said - in any region, so if on Steam something is -90% it is in Europe, America and Russia, and in Russia the original price for this game is less than -95% in USD. that's why it's adding to bundle list.

I believe its at 90% already. Been jumping between lvl 4 and 5 twice in the last days.
Since its so clear to some, could anyone of you point to the page where its explained?
Thank you

When you give a game that is discounted at 90% you should expect it to get bundled, because of the dollar exchange it come to more than 95% in some countries.

Game are calculated in american dollar which means that if you look at the discount you would get in a country like Russia with the exchange rate you get a discount of over 95%. If you don't already have it, you should use Enhanced Steam to see the pricing in different countries.

It is closer to 80% now, since Russian prices can be third of the US ones.

Check Isthereanydead / enhanced Steam for regional prices. If RUS/CIS price is less, than 5% of US price, it will surely get bundled - and this is around 85% nowadays. 90% off will surely get bundled, considering how weak the ruble is currently

Simple: treat everything as bundled and calculate with 15% of their original price as CV.

the irony is completely lost on you.the very thing you were accusing me of doing,is exactly the same as the actual stance you're assumed towards this community.i mean, how stupid can one be,to incriminate oneself in such manner,to be so oblivious to their own wrongdoing, without even a speck of fact-checking of a person you're trying to persecute.

tell ya what,ya pathetic, little, hypocritical wretch of a CV ho' - when you raise your public cv lvl well beyond those measly 48$,we'll talk then.until that point in time, your words carry no true weight in this plane of existence.

you have three options:
1) buy expensive games that couldn't possibly be on the bundle list (e.g. recent AAA titles)
note that the occasional price glitch can still have disastrous consequences, such as Just Cause 3
2) buy cheap shit bundles, knowing that every game is already on the bundle list
3) Not give a fuck

While there are rules explaining how a game gets on the bundle list, and that it's retroactive to the date the event occurred, the easy way to look at it is if you got it heavily discounted, it'll probably be on the bundle list.
As an aside, I wonder if Lego Jurassic Park will get on the bundle list (retail $39.99, currently available for $3.33; 92% off); plenty of those GAs going around
