Yeah, those receipts that Steam sends to your mail when you buy a game so you can provide proof that you're the original owner.

Did you provided your password on some of those fake login that people send to you in chat?

I did'nt provide my password to any of those fake logins.

Then i would run a scan on your computer to check if you have some spyware that stole your data.

And you should change your passwords, just to be safe.

well then u either you used the same password for your email and steamaccount then, or you got some serious keylogger or trojan on your pc.

They shouldn't be aBle to change your email unless they know your security question answers as well?

unless his passwords are the same, if so thats stupid in its own right

Or he got key logged, in which case, he should change all his passwords.

You're probably using the same password for multiple things, like your email and steam has the same password... and you've signed up for some community site with that as well. This is a very bad thing to do. Either that, or a close friend is responsible that you've shared information with... or you have a trojan on your system from poking around in stuff you shouldn't have been (like cheats, skins, scripts, etc).

Look on your profile and see if there are any comments on the state of your pants, particularly with regard to their bagginess.

If not then I recommend you change the password for your email as well, because that would have to be compromised to get past Steam Guard. You are using Steam Guard, right?

if he says no

Even though he changed my profile to private, I still have the account logged in on my phone browser and there's no comments with regard to their bagginess. After he hacked my steam account, I think he sent one of my steam gifts to his main account so now we're friend on Steam.

and steam guard?

The whole "baggy pants" thing is a tradition in some circles (some universities, for example) as a way to remind people not to leave a public computer without logging out of IRC/Facebook/whatever first. It was just a passing thought - not relevant to you after all, since this guy was actually hijacking your account to steal from your inventory, apparently.

Steam support should be able to get your account back and even return any gifts he took. I see you submitted a ticket already - good luck.

So, were you using Steam Guard after all? If not then you really should switch it on when you get your account back because it does a decent job of stopping most account-hijacking. If you had it all along then there's a good chance that someone else knows the password for your email address, so that needs changing.

he said his mail account's password was also changed, so he probably had SG eanbaled but it was no use in this case.

I don't think he had it enabled, he thinks the hacker send one of his gifts to his main. The hacker probably logged in from a new PC, if steamguard would have been enabled the account would be partially locked for a week and unable to send the gifts out until then, I think.

You will get your acc back mate, best luck also! :o, but damn, how the haaax got your mail and your acc... thats weird wtf!

Use another computer. You can have some kind of keylogger or virus on yours!!! Check it or call someone who will find it.

If your e-mail is gone so contact support of your e-mail provider for example yahoo, google etc. Connect your e-mail with another backup account. Change all security questions.

About steam account is there a lot of good advice so i will not write any of them.

by the way why didn't the 7 days of no trading from a new device work for your account?
you must definitely not have steamguard on or it's that this person has access to your devices.

Naw...originally, the profile said that he was living in Colorado but someone changed everything and deleted all his contacts. There is one person on his friends list right now though, it might be the hacker waiting for the trade restriction to lift before taking everything.
