its not usually the best idea to buy Steam keys from third-party websites, but at least if you used Paypal you can get a refund.

This is just not true at all. Then we wouldn't buy from so many legit sites and Valve would just make all the money. He was just having bad luck with the key. Support should be able to provide him with the proper one. There is nothing wrong with GetGamesGo, or greenmangaming, or many similar sites.

get games go is a legit gaming website. i have bought many games from them, and all my codes worked. You must have been unlucky and received a code that wasn't valid.

Have you tried a lot of keys in a short period of time? From a giveaway for example? Or maybe you missed a letter and tried to activate a wrong key several times?

The easiest thing you can do is wait ~half an hour and try the key again. Make sure you don't miss a symbol in the beginning or the end of the key.

If it doesn't work, contact site's support. It's a legit one, you don't need to worry I believe.

All of the keys that I have got from there have worked, eventually they will make a mistake though, even GMG gets it wrong sometimes and they are an official partner.
