Super Meatboy, Stealth Bastard, VVVVVV, Deadlight, Intrusion 2, Cave Story+, Aquaria, And Terraria is ain't that bad either

Both excellent platformers, but neither is really a puzzle platformer - however, along similar lines I'd recommend a whole lot of non-Steam games (particularly Lyle in Cube Sector, Knytt Stories/Within a Deep Forest, and Seiklus)

oh, sorry to the op i didn't noticed the "puzzle" part, in this case i don't know, i don't really like puzzle games(except few games) and i don't like that lately many developer combine platformers to puzzle, i like more platform games with a bit of action rather than with a bit of puzzle.

Stealth bastard (deluxe edition on steam, or free on their site), Hydra castle labyrinth (not on steam, yet awesome. And you can download it for free), Spelunky (not on steam. Also free)

Lately the games I've enjoyed most have been things like Trine, Vessel, Portal, Mark of the Ninja, Rochard... also tried Bastion, Limbo and Braid but didn't enjoy those as much. Based on those games what others would you recommend?
