I give you some info, i bet not all of you know but you can buy games from another steam region to

I found a region with currency in $ and prices are same like in Russia or almost the same http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=md

Well i tryed to change ip to buy some games but my currency was same in euro ... maybe this dont works, but if you're currency is $ will work for sure.

if you do it yourself, then yeah it is, because you need to use a vpn to purchase, which is against their TOS. getting someone else to buy for you is fine though.

all the region-switch on the website address allows you to do is view other regions pricing. it will not let you purchase through that regions version of the steam website.

and no, xboxer, no one is going to get banned just for viewing another regions version of the steam store ;)

I'm talking about BUYING it yourself.

Of course viewing it won't get you banned.

OP is talking about buying not viewing.

yes and im sure you know that one cant buy normally just through using the region-redirected website, and since he doesnt mention vpn, nothing he can do is going to get him banned :)

He said he tried to change his IP to buy games, so it sounds like that to me ;)

That's bypassing regional restrictions and pricing. IT WILL GET YOUR ACCOUNT BANNED.

yes but that doesnt work, steam will still not allow you to complete the transaction, hence, even though he might be TRYING something sketchy, it still wont get him anywhere, thats the point im trying to make. he can try any ip he wants, but he wont be able to make a purchase :)

I've seen accounts banned for less. Even if it doesn't allow the transaction to go through, you're still knowingly trying to break steam's TOS and they can ban for that. I wouldn't try it. Just get someone to gift it to you.

I don't think you can, at least if you're using a credit card. It checks the origin of it.

Just don't do it for your own good and your 100+ games in your library.
Track the offers from Steam or from other trusted sites and you'll manage to save shitloads of money anyway.

Btw it's Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and not just Macedonia (abbreviated as FYROM).
It's exactly the same like calling Republic of Bavaria anoher country outside of Germany...

Actually it's the Free State of Bavaria and the Federal Republic of Germany.

I know exactly what Bavaria is. I'm saying what's the paradox by calling FYROM just Macedonia by giving an example.

But most people only say bavaria and germany.

True because Bavaria is a part of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The same applies for Macedonia which is a geographical and historical region of Greece.
However, another neighboring country claimed the same name and that caused a conflict and a paradox...
Imagine what will happen if Poland claims the "Bavaria" name... It's exactly the same :)

Ah now i understand, what confused me was that your sentence should have been:
It's exactly the same like calling another country outside of Germany Republic of Bavaria...
