I just saw a banner in the LG web store for 3 months free Apple TV, redeemed it successfully. So for you with LG TVs just to know

When you open the WebOS store there's a banner, when you click it it opens a window with a code and instructions. You make a free Apple account, add a card (I used revolut, wasn't charged) and redeem the promotion.

I think that no, I have a WebOS 1 TV (2014)... On my TV I can't browse most of the https websites, but it was a free TV and I use a Fire TV stick, so I don't have problem.

Only WebOS 3.5+ can install Apple TV

Bought my LG TV 2 months ago and it doesn't even have the apple tv app.
I had 3 months apple tv free from another streaming service but couldn't use it on tv and on pc browser it sucks. It doesn't even have a search option. Worst service I have seen. Didn't watch a single show.
