So i just jumped from Chrome to Firefox, so far i'm happy but 1 thing annoys me to the hell.

In Chrome when you right click bookmark you have "open in new tab", in Firefox homever it's just "Open" and "Open in new tab" is below, which makes me constantly misslick this.

Is there any way to change this? Any addon perhaps?

Also some recommended addons besides this one would be cool too, so far i have LastPass and Adblock.

Not sure if it's an option for you, but if you MOUSE 3 click on a bookmark it will also open in a new tab. Saves time plus does exactly what you want without throwing other options your way.

Tab Mix Plus is great. I would try that. You can do anything you want to tabs. This is why I won't use Chrome, you can do enough with the tabs. You can use the default ways or set your own.

Just CTRL+Click it and it will open in a new tab.

Addons: Web Of trust, Flashblock(if you want).

Or use your middle mouse button, that should also work.

Yes, perfectly valid. That's how I do it actually, don't know why I didn't say it.

I'm not sure if this lets you change the context menu from right-clicking bookmarks, but it's worth a look.

Wheel click, wheel click, wheel click. Better and much easier than opening a context menu to do it and having to click twice.

You wanted some addon suggestions, too. Here is what I use:

  • Adblock Plus - You know about this one and yeah, it is great. There are other addons that work with it, as well.

  • Adblock Plus Popup Addon - Blocks popups with the Adblock Plus filters.

  • DownThemAll - Built in download manager, great for quick ripping many tabs at once. I use Internet Download Manager for everything else, but this can be great to hit up a page or many pages and grabbing any types of files you want.

  • DownThemAll AntiContainer - Redirects for DownThemAll, for use with image hosts.

  • Element Hiding Helper For Adblock Plus - Allows advanced blocking with Adblock Plus.

  • Empty Cache Button - My favorite way to quick clear the cache, in case of problems.

  • Enhanced Steam - Gives Steam Store more features.

  • Fasterfox Lite - It can tune your connection, a bit.

  • Gmail Notifier - Lightweight Gmail checker. There are others.

  • Image Zoom - Quick options for images, including zoom to window.

  • LastPass - You know about this one. Secure way to handle logins and passwords. Very fast and stable.

  • Movable Firefox Button - Shrinks the big orange button and lets you move it.

  • Scriptish - Lightweight script manager, similar to Grease Monkey. UserScripts has many scripts for it.

  • Tab Mix Plus - Lets you do anything and everything to tabs.

Also download "Ponify", delete the list, and add keyboard-leopard and keyboards-leopards.

Tab Mix Plus, for this and others missing features. Unfortunately, Firefox developers don't listen a lot of bug reports about how to improve the user interface.

Use middle mouse click?
That way u don't have to right click at all.Its a default feature.

I was a mozzila user for a 3,4 years,till the october/november last year,then i switched to Chrome.

main difference is that mozilla has only 1 process, and in it there are all tabs from her. So,if u have 20 tabs open in mozilla,it will act as 1 process, and if 1 of those tabs gets frozen, entire mozilla crashes.
In chrome, every tab=new process,so if 1 tab freezes, rest of tabs will be safe. But,as expected,it consumes more of the CPU,due to more processes.

Main reason i switched from mozilla to chrome is the freaking Adobe Flash player.
It was soo awesome back then,5-8 years ago,u watched everything with ease. Now u cant even watch youtube without glitching and stuff.
Mozzilla's flash player tends to get some crashes and errors quite often.
Chrome's one is more stable.

Right now,i'm on Comodo Dragon browser, which is a chromium based browser from comodo company.
Best one so far.The same as chrome, but still,i do notice some better performance in terms of CPU occupation
