I've decided on playing(starting****) the Juggernaut, as is appears to be the hero I'd have the most fun with.

What are your Juggernaut builds/item lists??? I'm thinking of doing this one http://www.dotafire.com/dota-2/guide/badass-jugg-2592

Decided to play juggernaut? You don't just pick a hero and play that all day in moba games, you play all of them.

What's the problem? It's up to you on which hero you want to play.
For example, this player LOVES to play Wisp.
Personally I play various heroes by always using Single Draft.

Playing only a couple of heroes is not good, you might need to pick something different or join all random.

I disagree when i first started playing dota all i played was jugg cos he was an easy hero to grasp the concepts and basic understanding of the game yeah i knew nothing. After that play every hero so you can predict what players might do as they approach because you will know their skills and how they work

I think what AnnoyingSoul meant was that you have to play all of the heroes to get accustomed to their moves, stats, and strategies. That way OP can become a better player, as opposed to only being a Juggernaut player.

I just meant that I noticed this very unusual player who only plays that one hero. And his win rate is ridiculously high too. So I just wanted to share the interesting stats.
I also think it would be a good idea to try out many heroes of course.

His winrate is so high because he only stacks with friends, wisp is also a pretty good supporter.

Random. Always random.

I started like this too, but nowadays I like to play all random to learn the strengths and weaknesses of all heroes....and I still play it alot, because I like variety ;)

+1 and I personally don't like the game, its always extra funny when someone tells someone not to try a F2P game though...like there is NO risk there at all haha.

Juggernaut is not a hard hero to play, its pretty easy to use it for the first times, on the build part I wouldn't suggest getting Manta's, instead get sange and yasha.

Juggernaut's a good starter, but he's not amazing for higher skill levels. Have you ever played LoL? Master Yi is pretty much a carbon copy of him. If you have trouble with him, don't give up but try and use a ranged hero before you decide the game is no fun.

Also, related note, I'm clearing out my Dota inventory and have some Jug items if you ever want to trade >.>

Sorry but Yi and Jugg are hardly similar. Other than the look, the only ability that is even similar is Jugg's healing ward with Yi's heal thing.

Uh... Are you playing the same game I am? Yi's first ability - carbon copy of Juggernaut's ult (because LoL focuses more on faster, damage dealing skills) Yi's meditate - a mix of Jug's ward and spin. Yi's ult - a boosted version of Jug's spin without the damage. Yi's passive and intrinsic - the only difference is that it's a flat damage addition compared to Jug's pseudorandom chance. They both focus on damage and speed and are great at backdooring against low skill. They both start to lose their effectiveness the higher skill you go thanks to increased teamwork letting them get shut down.

For skill build i would max q but get stats at lvl 2&3 will help with hp, mana and maybe bag early kills ult at 6,11,16 and either max passive if your carrying or max ward if you want to push i never really skills these the same every game just depends. For items dont build aghs unless you need the stats better off stacking agility items so sange and yasha is good, manta, diffusal blade, butterfly? but get your boots and battlefury before these

hope that helps

Maybe you think that Jug looks great now and after a few weeks you start playing keeper, one never knows...
Try that build, see what you like or not of it and then change it to your style. No hero/build works well for all games, so keep that in mind and don't worry about getting pwned really hard as you are learning to play.

Always have a tp scroll. Then use spin and tp out, if there is a gank incoming. Don't skill your crit early, because it can mess up your last hits. It is recommend to go battlefury, just start with the ring of health from the side shop and farm broadsword and claymore then. Then buy the void stone. However: I suggest you to play other heroes too, because everybody out there picks a carry, so jungle heros or solo long lane players are rare. Not even speaking about support. But at least you should try it out to make you more usefull for your team in case you have already 4 carrys in your team.

Thank You all for the input, but. As it turns out, my Dota 2 is only "Spectator Only". I first received my copy/invite from a friend a couple of months ago. Just recently installed it. Now, its saying "Spectate Only" Anyone else have this issue?

If you received an invite from a friend, shouldn't it be the full client?
