Okay, so I've been planning on upgrading to an AMD radeon 7970. At the moment I have a GTX 570 and it runs just fine on this PSU
The PSU is 80+ certificated and 650W. So will my psu be enough for the new card?

The card I will be buying

My current PSU's model number is CFT-650-14cs incase someone needs it.

Looks like it's a CWT unit and they didn't say anything negative over at jonnyguru so it should be fine

Oh that's okay. I'll think I'll be fine with my GTS 450 for now. Anyways have fun with your new 7970 :)

GTX 570 is quite a power hog and newer GPU cards require less power to run, so I would say 650W is enough as long as you don't plan to run 2x 7970 in CrossFire.

I don't have money for that, so no, not going to use crossfire. Thanks anyways.
