I used a key and then someone else tried using it and then clicked "retrieve lost account" and I got an email saying

"Dear Steam User,

This is an automated message generated by Steam account administration. It is being sent in response to a query made by a Steam user to discover all account names associated with this CD-key."

I'm afraid they emailed support saying that they lost their account and gave them my first and last name as well as the key for proof. If they did this is there any chance of them actually gaining access to my account?

Don't worry about it, nearly any time you ninja a key you will see this message. I assume it's people with reading problems, since anyone who thinks they can gain anything by pressing that button is a bit confused...

No, they do it as revenge against nameless ninjas who didn't alert people to the fact they got the key.

You claimed a key that was posted somewhere publicly that is still visible to people or someone just full of hate. They are clicking on the "Recover Account" button from the duplicate key screen.

Don't worry I get it to.
