I remember him putting out an apology for how terrible it ended up being, I can see him taking it off.

Looked awful from the concept. FNAF was an incredibly basic concept; the only thing it really had going for it was its lore, and trying to piece it all together, and I'm not entire certain there ever WAS an "all together." But an RPG? This is one of the most unnecessary spin-offs of all time.
That being said, it's free now, so I'll download it and add it to the "hidden" category to bump up my collection number without cluttering my interface.
Yes, I'm that guy. You are entirely allowed to hate me.

That's a shame. Though the idea was a bit ridiculous sounding, he's still just one person putting work into a project. Yeah, the launch was premature and really REALLY badly thought out (as he said himself in the old store page, it was missing skill descriptions and various basic menus for crying out loud), but permanently pulling the game for it to return as a F2P seems just as drastic. I mean, he did apologise for the mistake of launching it way too early but this seems to be the opposite extreme. It would have been way better to see if he could get it marked as Early Access again and perhaps give the fans who bought it already some kind of EA-exclusive cosmetics or something.
Despite the bad decisions, he does come across as pretty chill. Hopefully he'll keep learning and eventually get coding skills (or a little team) to match some of his imagination. Say what you will about FNAF and it's fanbase, I'd never wish a complete crash on anyone. At least, not when they're not chill.
