Well. Im finally going to get my S4 in about an hour and I dont know if I should get the octa core or the quad core version. I have seen a lot of reviews and both have advantages and disadvantages. I was thinking about the octa core, 8 cores, obviously, seem much more powerful than 4 cores...
what would you buy? (and if possible, why)

I'm pretty sure the 8-core version only uses 4 cores at a time, switching between more and less powerful cores depending on what you're using it for. I could be wrong though.

I'm still not sure which one I would pick, but how the cores are used is something you should look into and it might help you decide.

True, octa core uses only 4 cores at time: The less powerfull when needed and more powerful when gaming and stuff..

Which color you picked ? :3

The white looks really cool :) , the black looks nice also , but if I'll buy Galaxy s4 , I'll go with the white.

If I remember rightly, the octa-core uses two quad cores, one for generally running the phone and a faster one for more demanding apps and games?

yes, that's right. my only doubt is that those two cores are 1.6 and 1.2 GHz (or 1.4 and 1.2), and the quad core one has one core @1.8GHz. that's why I wasnt sure about it

idk about you, but I'll go with quad core, 5% difference vs loss of LTE + loss of cyanogenMod support on the international version is a big disappointment to me. Still, I'm waiting for next-gen of phone before actually upgrading myself.

P.S: You should have gotten HTC One :P
