So, I recently bought skyrim, after hearing so many people saying that's a really good game ( I wasn't sure about it, I tried it some time ago and I didn't like it, and I also read some reviews made by people that I trust) and I would say that, despite my precedent impressions the gameplay is fairly enjoyable. But, the graphics... as a gamer, I think I should just ignore the graphics and concentrate on the gameplay, but for me they're too important. So, do you have some graphic mods that could make Skyrim look better? I would also accept other kind of mods, if you have a really good one.
(Sorry for my bad english...)

like this

gotta go into files and download them either with a mod manager or manually download them, but i recommend mod manager since it automatically install the mods into your mod folder

Skyrim is a good game, but mods are what make it excellent. Now, I haven't played it for ages because the game started crashing because I have so many mods on and I'm too lazy to start figuring it out one by one and have other games to play. I would recommend googling for lists about best mods and so on.

What I myself recommend, if you want you can download HD textures pack which combines if I remember right 3 different HD mods to bring the best of each one out. The downloads are huge though, so you may want to reconsider if you have slow internet. But the one absolute thing needed is ENB. It makes your game run smoother and improves graphics a ton with different effects, specifically lighting, while being really light for your system. You can either set up your own setting for ENB or download a user made profile from a mod site, there are so many of them that it's certain you'll find something that you like.

There are many good gameplay mods, but it all really depends on what you like; you have hardcore mods like having to eat and keep yourself warm and then there are things that e.g. improve the perk trees. As said I haven't played for ages so I don't have anything special to mention.

Have fun playing!

So if I get NMM and the mods from this Nexus website, they'll work on the Steam version of Skyrim?

Thanks! This might get me to play again ^^ Played the absolute hell out of Skyrim on PS3, and I've been reluctant to play it again on PC, but I might now.

for the love of all what is made for PC... please, install SKSE and SkyUI... the base inventory menu system for skyrim is bad... really bad, wrong in all possible ways.
Steam Workshop version
Nexus Version
check the description to install SKSE (this thing is a script extension for the game, you WILL NEED IT for most mods)
the steam workshop link has a tutorial to install it.
