In the Wildlife Preservation mission how do I get to mordekai? I've walked around the mountain about 20 times now and can't find a door or way up that isn't blocked by an invisible wall. Halp me guise.

EDIT: No, I didn't pirate the game.

I think I figured out the problem. I was doing missions for tiny tina and since mordekai is on the map in that area it is telling me to go to his house on the mountain instead of the wildlife preservation area.

The best part of this is that everyone assumed that I had pirated the game. Jumping to conclusions is fun, isn't it?

What? If you are referring to that I don't have it on steam that is because I have it on my PS3.

lol is this one of the anti-piracy measures they put in?
the batman arkham asylum one was one of the best ones, I like how everyone bitched about how batman
couldnt glide over the poison trap on the official game forums and they was all demanding that the developers fix it and that they "paid hard earned" money on it and demanding refunds XD. Then the game devs said to get passed it you need to buy the original game and banned so many forums accounts haha

Michael Jackson The Experience has the best anti-piracy measure ever

But what I really love is the "anti-piracy" in Alan Wake. The game plays normal and you can play it through the end with no problems... The only difference its that your character is wearing a eyepatch the whole time!(I really want to figure it out how to use it on the legit steam version, lol)

If this is on PS3, then I'm sorry friend. I had this exact same issue happen to me on 360 With Deus Ex Human Revolution. It thought it was a pirated version, and locked me out. It was very annoying. In that case, i had to wipe out ALL my data (Cache / system files / save files etc).
That may work for you, but i recommend it as a last resort solution.

Did you even read my question?

I did read your question. My answer was BEFORE you edited it (when you indicated that you were simply stuck behind invisible walls). I thought it might be an anti-piracy issue, as invisible walls are pretty rare in such an obvious path in a main storyline area. Speaking of "Jumping to conclusions", you came here with a QUESTION. You LACKED knowledge. We are spitballing here, trying to find a solution FOR YOU, and you accuse us of "jumping to conclusions". That makes you kind of an ass doesn't it? I didn't accuse you of anything, I just tried to help.
Next time you seek help, and others try to help you, you shouldn't bite off their heads. Your welcome btw, i'm glad i took time to try and help, so you could insult me/us.

... Dues Ex was an example. Often, these anti-piracy issues crop up on consoles as "invisible walls". I know he is not talking about Deus Ex. If his situation was similar to mine, then perhaps my solution would be as well.

I know a fair bit about anti-piracy on 360 & PS3 in particular, and my information seemed relevant at the time (Still was, considering the information available at the time).

Your right, If i don't have it on PS3, i shouldn't answer at all. As everyone knows, they make campaigns TOTALLY different on different platforms. Also they make wildly different Anti-Piracy for each platform too (Sarcasm btw). In my case, the "Deus Ex: HR" anti-piracy presents itself IDENTICALLY on every platform. No one is going to waste development time, to insert different kinds of antipiracy on different platforms, just for kicks. They create one result, that they MAY have to implement differently on each platform, if the technology requires it.

Dude, I said that i couldn't find a way up to where he was, not that i was stuck somewhere. If you haven't played the game and know what i am talking about then why are you even attempting to help me with the game in the first place?

calm down guys, in his defence your description was pretty vague before you edited it :/
and the reason why most people assumed that is cause thast the sorta tricky things developers do nowadays to combat piracy.

yeah but when you come to the forums on a website for steamgifts and steam games the most natural thing people will assume its gonna be about steam platform.

I assumed that the people that answered would have played the game and beaten the mission I stated in the description. Honestly I give you guys an A for effort on this one, but I figured it out.

That's what i did after a while of trying to go up skyrim-style, but they put invisible walls so you can't actually get up to him. They must have a problem with having one character being on 2 different areas as i wasn't even supposed to be anywhere near his house.

Whenever I get a story breaking bug I close out of the game and run it again. It clears out that messed up memory.
