CSS isn't loading. I don't think you can do anything but wait.

I never had this issue, but I don't think its an issue with the client. Check your internet connection or firewalls. Gremlins may have stolen the steam store.

I have the same problem and here on SteamGifts it also doesn't load some some images (avatars, etc.).

The problem should solve itself, just wait some hours.

I had that problem when my internet was really slow. It started working fine after a few minutes.

You should probably check your internet connection and firewalls.

Probably it's just your internet connection, but you can check Java and Flash if you want.

Don't bother. It has nothing to do with them.

Sure, but updating Flash and Java is always a good idea. And if he even don't know them, they're probably over 9000 years old. ;)

I have both of them on auto updating so they are both up to date.

Flash and Java (change language, if necessary!)

If the problem persists, try this method.
1.) install tcpview
2.) open it, find steam.exe
3.) right click and close connection

this refreshes and connects the steam server to a different available IP. maybe this will help you
