Both posts are by the same person. The "quick update 2" is by the same person as the other thing linked by the OP, the OP just did not link you it in the OP, and only here.

I know that. He claimed recent actions when they canceled their actions so it was somebody switching for literally no reason. It isn't like they chose to ignore feedback and continue their original plan like EA.
