Well, it depends on the bundle - if it has happy hour they will* buy using that and then split accordingly.
In cases like this where there's no happy hour, they just follow the website ("Donate 5 gifts paying more than: $8.03") - you can see a few examples of this already having happened in some of the recent threads in the group that I've linked.

They do, but group buying these monday bundles also gives a discount ($1.61 instead of $1.89) because you can buy 5 copies for a cheaper price.

100% buy! No dupe games for me, Read Only Memories, SWR, and OASE were all on my wishlist.
Now I feel bad telling my friend about OASE last week and seeing that he bought it for 20 bucks!

Ehh I wouldn't say a lot of games, unless I don't notice it? But I would put it on the devs for not noticing imo. Since Sept 1st and they dont inquire? No cards is a deal breaker for many people.

Oh mm guess I never noticed, but I guess I don't visit the pages that often, just run idle master :P. I've only noticed games that are supposed to have cards, advertise they have cards, but give no drops.

those are probably free to play games, where you need to buy stuff in-game or normal game turned into free-to-play and people who used cd key get the cards.

Nope not free games, I don't play them. "Are you smarter than a 5th grader" is the only one that comes to mind atm.
I know all about the requirement of spending $9 in game to acquire card drops for free games.

Looks like they definitely have some serious problem, for "educational" game they really didn't do their homework about trading cards right and uhm it has tag "Psychological Horror" xD, judging from the review ratings, I guess it's spot on.

haha yeah its not that good. It feels like a 3DS port, which it actually may be. I know its a port of some nintendo product. Probably just put it on steam and waiting for the money to come in, devs are MIA. Guessing thats usually the case in these scenarios with cards. They submit their cards/backgrounds/emotes but steam denies it and requests a fix but they're long gone. Happens a lot with other games but the devs actually stick around and fix their submission rather quickly.

they can lie intentionally or unintentionally about anything, you probably and many others know about the developer meltdown not so long ago

its not that unfamiliar , check your old games, sometimes Steam lacks on updating their store pages, or the devs need to poke em , dunno. But there are a lot of games who can drop cards or get achievements which aint called for on the main store page ;).

It's red because you are probably on mobile, and the hearts show up as emojis. On the PC these hearts show up as black.

lol so what I did was on the pc, i used the text unicode hearts, and when people messaged me about caveman craig having cards, I was on my mobile device and inserted an emoji in place of the unicode heart :) so you are right on your research! hehe
