I don't like the word "overrated" but To the Moon is possibly the most disappointing game I've ever played considering some of the praise that's been written about it (from Metacritic "This game transcends "work of art," supersedes "classic," and sits somewhere up there in the realm of "masterpiece."").

I disagree, Portal 1 is far superior than Portal 2, the second one gave me motion sickness, and it just didn't feel right.

No motion sickness for me, but i totally agree that Portal 1 is way better. When i first played it in 2007, it was just mind-blowing and i could play it for days.
Didn't like how they changed some of the mechanics (the handling of cubes for example), but the worst thing was how restricted the puzzles were (only a few tiles to shoot portals at), that really limited the creativity.
There was also very little value added to the storyline, plus the "boss fight" was basically a lame rip-off, but that makes me look forward to the next part.
Portal 2 is still a very good game though, don't get me wrong

I have mixed feelings with Fallout 3. It's a good game, it drawn me into the Fallout universe - but being cool in a post-apocalypse word is somehow weakly presented in the game. I'm okay with the graphics and engine, even though they are arguably outdated. But at least it's moddable. On the other hand it's atmosphere is great, yet the quests are lacking - the main quest is utter bullpoo, without reasonable boss. Fallout NV at least gave much-much more on RPG front.
PS: I said F3 drawn me into Fallout. It's true. Yet if I have to grade the games, it would be Fallout 2 = NV > Fallout 1 >> Fallout 3.

HALO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's ok, but I don't really see what the big fucking fuss is a about. Mediocre games. Talking about the single player.
I'd also say every Call of Duty game starting with Modern Warfare 2, but that's like beating a dead horse or shooting fish in a barrel.
Bioshock Infinite - before you start flaying me, keep reading: it's a great game and I love it to hell, but I've seen reviews calling it the best FPS ever made or saying it has the best story in a video game ever. Come one, people...let's be serious. It's not even on par with the first Biohsock, which is a total masterpiece.
Starcraft - it's good, but not that good, certainly not the best RTS ever, I think Red Alert 2 is better.

I played the first Halo a couple years ago having never done so before in order to understand what made it so good, and I think even for the time, it's kind of a mediocre experience. A lot of interior areas were repetitious and bland in both design and aesthetic. Weapon variations felt somewhat limited. Even the aspect of driving vehicles in an FPS came out kind of spotty, as nothing handles well. The way the Library stage was designed felt lazy and was extremely tedious to go through, and while the campaign's story was a cool concept, it was really just ok in terms of the way it was executed. I feel if it hadn't been for what it offered in its multiplayer, Halo would have just came and went, and that would have been it.

I will say this about Halo: it does excel in one department and that's graphics. And by excel I mean it blows any competition out of the water. This is a game that came out in 1999 and looks better than games that came out in 2001. In fact, the only game from 2001 that does look better is Return to Castle Wolfestein and that's a game that in its time required a fucking NASA computer to run. There have been other FPS games that featured some mind-blowing graphics for their time like Doom 3, Half Life 2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl Crysis, Bulletstorm or Far Cry 3, but they did have some competition and the discrepancy with the present technology of their age wasn't that big.Doom 3 was quickly overthrown by Half Life 2 but also F.E.A.R and Far Cry were both pretty near to its technical achievements. S.T.A.L.K.E.R got a run for its money from Bioshock a year later(although it is ultimately superior), Crysis created a revolution by spawning an entire plethora of good looking shooters coveting its place as king of graphics and Bulletstorm was followed very closely by Deus Ex Human Revolution and all it's slickness, while Far Cry 3 held the title for a few shots months until Crysis 3 threw it out of the water.
But Halo's only competition was Half-Life and comparing them graphically is like comparing the Eiffel tower and The Statue of Liberty in height. But if graphics was to determine how good a game is, Crysis would probably be the best game in history...which is NOT.

I know I'm gonna be hated by many, but... Oh well; There are many overrated games out there, many I've played over the years, but I'm going to mention the two games that disappointed me the most last year.
Tomb Raider (Reboot): Nothing but a below mediocre, simplified, linear Third-Person "cover" Shooter, scripted to no end, that loves to take the controls off of my hands away to often, sadly focused on a sub par storyline covered with two dimensional characters that have no proper development throughout the game and that I'm apparently supposed to care for...
Bioshock Infinite: Nothing but a bad, simplified, scripted "storydriven" First-Person Shooter, that loves to take the control off of my hands at times, presents me with intrusive "choices" that have absolutely NO impact on the game whatsoever, flooded with some of the most tedious, most repetitive shooting I've experienced in a game, Elizabeth whose powers and influence in the gameplay I expected a whole lot more from, covered and focused in a plain mediocre, flawed storyline that doesn't understand most of the concepts its built upon.

Bioshock 3
CS
Half-life 2(yeah. its really good, but when it came out was treated like god on earth, one is better still)
Mass Effects
Hearthstone (chill out guys, its another tcg with nothing new, just because its blizzard. Still prefer magic and 5 rings in tcgs)
and pretty much every MOBA. They can be fun, but oh god how much they're all overrated.

Payday 2. I'm sure most wont agree, but their store page had misinforming info (after early announcement), I loved beta, but was dissapointed by lack of polish and maps - hoped the promised 30-40 different heists would appear in final product, but they apparently seem to be cut into DLC. Pretty much it was a false advertising. Never have I since trusted any game enough to pre-order anything, will never probably again.

Bioshock was quite good but not great, Bioshock 2 was cumbersome and barely interesting.
Now if we take the game supposed to be its originator - System Shock 2 - and its other child - Deus Ex - I can say those were masterpieces.

Minecraft by far is the most overrated game ever. Also, it's a piece of crap. CoD wins second place.

The Last of Us, Half-Life 2, Minecraft, all MOBAs, Counter-Strike, Grand Theft Auto series, and that's about it.
