...This time it's something where I haven't found a solution, and whenever a topic is made about it, it's never solved. So, the problem is the following: Gmod doesn't stop loading on this mac. It won't answer so whenever I load it, an hour would pass and it would be stuck on a blue screen saying "Loading"... Yes I have defragged, reinstalled and the usual bullshit when a game doesn't work.

i'm joking, i'm a mac user/games as well:)

the problem is i don't have gmod, but anyway it looked strange to me that you mentioned defragging. i mean, nobody defregs on osx, that's done only by win users. defragging on osx is done only in very very special situation, for sure not when a game doesn't work.

looks like yu're not alone (google=gmod mac blue screen problem)

you're right, repartiotioning a hd is (under some special circumstances) one of the very very special cases you defrag.

i'd like to point out that defrag implies "moving file pieces around in order to have files placed all together and nont fragmented" and "moving files all together in some physical part of the hd" (i chose easy words deliberately). while the first affecs performances, the second permits more flexibility when repartitioning without wiping the content of a hd.

OP must have defragged with the first idea in his head (probably since he comes from windows, since in ntfs defragging is a necessity in a almost full hd, while in hfs+ is not that much).
