Similar assessment. Yep.

On a completely different note: Are people just showing off their new rigs now? XD

I'd say its pretty good, but I'd recommend getting a GTX 660Ti over a GTX 570. Just a matter of preference. If you're getting something in the $300 range, might as well make it have the newer architecture!

It's a good rig, will be able to play anything really.

+1 on 660ti (or 7850/7870) and a better PSU. Otherwise it looks pretty good.

You could save a bit on the mobo chipset too if not overclocking (and then skip the -k CPU) to get a little extra for PSU. If overclocking get an aftermarket CPU cooler.

Please stop all these threads. Otherwise I'll have to make a parody thread where I list the specs of my Nintendo 3DS and ask if I can play Borderlands 2 on that thing.

Yes, how dare people ask for opinions on something before they spend a large amount of money on it. Go back to pretending to be a girl for attention.

570 has shown to show its age a tad, and with only 1.3 gb VRAM you might have to sacrifice a few bells and whistles depending on what resolution and settings you play on. Never seen that brand psu but it should run a 570 fine. CPU is the best bang for the buck for gaming and is a beast. You could oc to 4ghz at near stock voltage, I got mine at 4.4. Everythig else looks good.

My computer's terrible in comparison.

That's rather good, don't know what resolution are you planning to game, but my guess is it should be able to handle everything at 1080p, maybe not full details, but it'll do just fine.

not bad but i'd recommend a 750w for a psu instead.

500W is enough for that build. What matters is to get a model that actually delivers what it advertises (especially 12v) continously and at a realistic temperature.

The PSU has 80Plus certification, so i assume it being somewhat good?

This is a pretty great build. Decent higher-mid range. Will play most games up until now at high or max, probably. Make sure your RAM and MoBo are compatible though. I made the mistake on not checking, and I can't use my 550 Ti because of it. Still waiting on a BIOS patch that will fix it.

I also recommend a Hyper 212+ aftermarket CPU cooler. For about $30 you can keep your CPU ridiculously cool, I often run at about 15 degrees C, even in summer (I live in Colorado, gets pretty hot here). Worth it even if you aren't going to overclock.

I've already decided to get that CPU cooler. haven't added it to the list yet, but that's just another easy thing to fix! :D
