EGST backup multiple times a day?

Anyone else all of a sudden getting EGST backups multiple times a day?
ESGT was set for every 7 days. Then in the last couple days, its spamming repeated back ups in one day.
Love the add-on, just not the multiple files created every day now. I dont think I did anything to trigger this as I was annoyed at it doing a back up once a day a couple months ago. So I set it to do it weekly and was happy. Then BAM! today I had 8 backups created and still counting. I cant find the trigger.

I even changed to to do a backup every 30 days. Still backed up today several times.

That's a feature which gets triggered by spamming the wrong category.
