I'm in need of getting my 7390(36GB) skyrim saves, as well as other games' saves, off my HDD. Preferably a place that keeps them permanently, and free. Any specific sites you guys recommend? I would assume there aren't many free permanent storage sites out there though. In case you're wondering, I played skyrim on my brothers account while I was without internet for a year.

Usually when I run out of HDD space, I just buy a new one and just slot it in alongside the others. Currently rocking 9 internal HDDs and a few "outies", with Steam games strewn across 4 of the drives, mixed in with a heap of other crap like home videos, travel pics, work stuff, various OS installations, etc :)

I know - I should really de-clutter, but I'm a hoarder, and a chronically disorganised one to boot...

Extra drives are dead cheap though, so unless you're strapped for space (ie you're using a laptop or a desktop with a teeny, tiny case) it's an option worth considering.

Hehe, same. I tend to keep all my work, artwork, games (as in games I developed), anything I create on my HDD regardless of quality. But of course, games (games I play) take up most of the space, resulting in me filling up two internal HDDs, an external HDD and now I'm up to my second external HDD which will hopefully last a bit longer as it's quite a lot larger than my last few (2 TB as opposed to 500GB). :P

I plan on getting another 1TB soon because this one is nearing the end of it's life. I just don't think it will last until I start my new build. I was wanting an online storage for game saves and such, until I can get a RAID setup with my next build.

Why someone has 7k+ different saves? How can he/she know which one is he/she wants. How to distinguish them?

Sadly, no mods were used. :C And yea I can distinguish between them, skyrim save files have the character names in the titles. I just played 9-10 months of nothing but skyrim. 1 character gets boring after you beat the game in vanilla skyrim. I have somewhere near 18 maybe 20 characters, and I was in the habit of saving often. I had a 'save game' addiction.

But... what reason would you have for needing to keep so many of the saves? Surely you don't need any more than than like... 3 or 4 of each character's saves, and delete all the rest.

I liked to hoard my saves. I always have a feeling I'll go back to a specific save. Which I do quite often.

I use Skydrive, which is now called "Onedrive". I used hotmail for around 5 years, so when when they decided to take the storage from 25 GB to 7 GB, they let me keep it because I was an old-time Skydrive user. I rarely use online storage, I always seem to use physical storage - like USB drives, they've always been convenient for me.

I'd go with Firedrive.com as they offer 50GB for free, no bandwidth limits and FTP upload access.
