Hi all. I have an old Steam account that I do not use and I just want to get rid of it. It has one game on it: Unrailed!.

Can I gift that account to someone, or should I just delete it?

In the TOS account sharing is forbidden I'm sure.
You can delete the account since it has no real value just to save u the trouble.

Technically, but it doesn't hurt a fly to pass it on that knows someone that might want to be introducted to steam with a free game.

Also you should be able to pass an account on to a family member in case of a death, it's not really thought about with Valve.
Perhaps that also isn't allowed but noone would be the wiser on them if it happened.

What if something happen to the account and it got locked and they asked for a verification like a receipt or original email ? The account only have 1 game and not worth investing in the account. since the game is like 2$.

Just use it to activate any freebies you already own on the main account and maybe one day you'll gift it to someone dear to you. That's what I use mine for, only been using it for about 3 years and I already have about 100+ games on it from different Fanatcial/Humble/Steam giveaways.

Keep it, activate good but cheap leftover games you have no better thing to do; in the future you can use it (as far we know) for family sharing if needed.

Or you can just delete it, it's hassle-free and as others said, it has so little on it that it's not even a real loss, nor a good foundament to begin with.

Thank you all very much 💛 you helped me with my decision. I decided to delete it, since: I don't know anyone that wants it, I already have a third account where I also bought some multiplayer games to play with my son, this account is not worth that much.

If it's a really really old account (15+ years) it could be worth a lot - I remember people that played CS used to pay a lot depending on how low the steamid was.
