I already wrote about this but no one has answered.
The app works for me just few days and then it stops to work. I have to uninstall it and then install again to get it work again. It is very annoying.
I tried the last stable version - it stopped to work, then beta 4 and it stopped to work again, then I updated it to beta 5 and it didn't start to work so I had to uninstall it and install again to make it work.
I have Android 5.1 and I installed it via F-Droid. Then it is not working, I always see that I have 0 points and group/wishilst/recomended/new GAs don't show the right results.

That sounds like you're not "really" logged in, just that the app thinks you are :/

It looks like that. First it said something about a crfs token and lastly, it said something like unable to fetch items. If it the problem is really the login, then there is a question why it keeps to disconnect me when the steam client on my phone is always connects and it never disconnects.

The app doesn't really use your steam login info once it managed to login, only the SG session. And there's a few odd quirks in the way SG handles sessions (even so far as to setting multiple session cookies in the same request)
Short of clearing the app data and trying the latest beta, I'm not sure how to really address this issue either. Can't really reproduce it :X

What about a log? Can the app generate a log? Could you add it if it doesn't not? I would send it to you after it stopped to work. I have rooted android so you could use some more advanced things in case you need them.

SG tools page is showing first rule only. But checking rules works correctly. Sometimes it shows 'caught exception while loading'.

Hey, great app! I'm using the current googleplay version, but I have a problem. I'm used to hiding all games that dont interest me (ie a lot), but the app simply wont let me hide some games. Some of them only show up in the app, but not on the website. In other cases I cant hide them, when I accidentally bookmarked them. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks!

hallo, recently i had a factory reset of my mobile and when i installed back my stuff i noticed that on google play store there was an updated version of your app (1.5.4). so i installed from there instead of fdroid.
it happens it doesn't load the miniature pics of the games in the game list and in the ga page, while it loads the screenshots.
why? should i rollback to fdroid? i like the idea of autoupdates from google play store when possible.

Mabako explained it earlier, it's something with google play which doesn't allow "unauthorized use of licenced pictures", paraphrasing. So the G Play app doesn't have pictures on the main GA page but still works, while the F Droid has and works, as well. It's a matter of taste really

Maybe in a future version you can activate them not only in wifi, and the option to get notification of WL game.

please could you add a checkbox "Only apply to public GAs" to the GA filter? It's good to filter public GAs with level filters but the filters doesn't have meaning in WL/Group GAs.

I don't know if Quick Enter button works as it should. When I use it, it quick enter a giveaway BUT also it hide title I enter on the GA list. It add games to hide GA list. So when I check GAs via website, I don't see on the list games I enter via Quick Enter button. [Version 1.5.4.]

It might had be reported before, but sometimes I'm unable to hide a game: on the GA list if I swipe it on the list it swipes, but then shows the eye icon without deleting the entry and the game is still there if I refresh the list; in the specific giveaway page, clicking on the three dots reveals a grayed out "hide game" button. This problem is game-ralated (the same game will always be non-hidable) but I can't find any correlation between affected games...

You might have to manually request the packages list on f-droid.
https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/?fdid=net.mabako.steamgifts list 1.5.8 as latest version, so you should be able to find it in theory.

If you open the f-droid app, its one of the buttons in the top bar. says "refresh packages" or something.

yes/no -- iirc, the Play Store version was not allowed by Google since it included graphics from other copyrighted content (namely: every game's title promo images). So the version on the Play store won't show them. I'm not sure if it's kept up to date though -- I just use the F-Droid version myself.

You can sort-of work around this in the settings, by always showing the newest comments on top (instead of the oldest comments); but that's no "real" go to bottom :|
