I just saw a post on MP3 system reqs and I was wondering, for those who have played Space Marine before: How well will my system play the game? I just got it today lol and I want to make sure you guy think it is even worth trying to play at the moment.

These are my specs (Yes, I am going to upgrade eventually hopefully before summer rolls around if possible)

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) Dual Core Processor 4850e (2 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Memory: 3070MB RAM
Page File: 1306MB used, 5258MB available (Question about my page file also, should I decrease it? I made it this large on purpose, but I don't know if it is helping or making things worse)
Card name: ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series - I have a 4670 1 gb

You'll be fine. And put your page file back to default - let Windows manage it.

EDIT: By fine, I don't mean maxed out, but you'll be able to run it.

Yeah I didn't expect max settings, but I just wanted to know if you guys thought I could even run it. Because my internet is unbelievably slow lol and I didn't want to download if I know I don't stand a chance at it. So thanks ^^ and about the paging file: why is it better to let windows manage?

Yeah, I don't think you'll have any problems. If you do get some studdering, make sure AA/AF is off, and decrease Post-Processing and your resolution.

And the paging file is used when your computer runs out of memory (and also when there is a BSOD Windows dumps the physical RAM to it temporarily). The active program (for example, a game) will always be stored in physical RAM, and if you run out of memory, then Windows starts dumping (I believe the order is) the kernel first, and then the background tasks that are using the least CPU cycles. Letting Windows manage it is just one less thing to worry about, imo. If you want to have a static size, like you have now, then change it to 4605. Generally, you want your page file (or swap partition in Linux) to be 1.5x your physical memory.

Judging by your card, you should be fine. If not, there's always lower video settings or OnLive until you build a new computer.
